A recent event made me realise that many people do not understand the power of Time enough, so permit this blog to explain firstly what time is all about.
Time is a concept that is described in math as the ongoing and continuous sequence of events that occur in succession, from the past through the present to the future. Time is used to quantify, measure or compare the duration of events or the intervals between them, and even, sequence events.
Personally, time can be considered to be the fourth dimension of reality, used to describe events in three-dimensional space. It is not something we cannot see, touch, or taste, but we can measure its passage. We measure it with our age, anniversaries, generations, historical events, social change, modernism, modernisation, modernity, war, technology amongst other things.
Time is given to every one of us very unequally, no matter how prayerful one tends to get, no matter how healthy one is, it is good to acknowledge that, unlike a perfect world, we live in a world where life can be taken from us any moment. I could be here today and not be here the next day.

Life is time and time is life, Regardless of how crazy that sounded, it is what it is. Life exists to anyone reading this right now simply because they have time, this article would pop up on google to people who have time, notifications about the publication would be sent to everyone who also has time. The moment a person lacks time, it simply means that they are no longer alive.
Time, unlike everything else is something that we need to understand and never play with. Reasons why it is a brutal thing to waste your life with someone who’s not sure, and ready to be with you, or studying a course or programme that you do not have any kind of likeness for, time is life, use it the exact way you’ll use your life if it were to be in your hands.
Due to the unpredictability of life, everyone must make decisions that they would be comfortable with if it were to be their last day. It is not about going to parties, clubbing, doing drugs or whatever youths love to do. It is about living a life that has passion and love and achievements.
There is a need to do the following:
- Ask yourself the right self-analytical questions: such as, What is my purpose in life? What drives me? What do I want to be remembered for?
- Find your passions and understand them appropriately.
- Start doing the right things NOW
- Don’t make excuses, instead, make decisions that are followed with productive actions.
- Pursue your passion NOW while you still can. If you don’t have the luxury to do that, then chase after what would give you money legitimately and respectfully or get the right connections so you can pursue your passion.
- Be proactive and intentional.

Humans tend to need time a lot, hence, you see so many Anti-ageing creams, so many people trying to act as if they’re not aware that time is running against them. Truth is, if you try to outrun time, you’ll end up regretting it too late. There is a reason why everyone regardless of whoever they are, cannot fight the universal nature of things. It is not meant to be fully grasped nor is it meant to be manipulated. It is simply what it is. Why waste something you cannot have again? Why waste time with the knowledge that once it is gone, only memories will give you the feeling of what it felt like. There is a need to realise that we use time too poorly. It is imperative to be serious about time regardless of how comedic one is.
Time is something you can never get back once it is gone.
There is the story of Jonathan Larson, a Man with a great artistic mind, He chased his passion all throughout his life, not knowing he was going to die by 35. Regardless of how much he had chased his passion, wrote a piece of stage musical work for 8 years, it never got to see Broadway, He proceeded to keep writing and producing a different piece of wonderful beautiful works, but the only time his show got into the big limelight, He died.
He ended up chasing a dream that He could not get to see become a reality but His name and accomplishments have lived on to be one of the greatest in New York. Anyone interested can go see his life autobiographical movie directed by Lin Manuel with the title: tick, tick… boom!
Imagine if Jonathan Larson hadn’t realised his potential and focused on it, Imagine how he would have become just one of the many talents that we never get to hear of, on a large scale.
There is a need to always be conscious of the fact that Life is not owned, rather, it is a mere privilege that can be taken any moment from NOW.
