If you’ve been up-to-date with money making opportunities then you would know by now that the best source of money is digital (internet based). It’s very crazy when you think of it, just 3 decades ago, the internet did not exist. But here we are; Living in a digitalised village, and here you are reading something via a web of connection you or I can not see.

Due to the high demand of people to earn from the internet just like their friend or family member, there have been an evident spike in activities that can make one money via the internet. Such that you can earn $2k+ weekly/monthly using just your smartphone or laptop.

But on this post, I want to discuss with people who fall into the following category:

• Started A Business or Learnt a Skill To Make Money Online But Lacks The Result To Show For It.
• Want To Start Making Money Online But Still Contemplating or Procrastinating

Started A Business or Learnt a Skill To Make Money Online But Lacks The Result To Show For It

I’ve seen so many people shouting on social media and e-mails – telling people to go get a course or learn a skill and start making money immediately.

I’ve also seen people telling their audience to move their business online or start an online business because they will start making large sums of money in very short time.

Both statements are not false, they just lack depth. So don’t think whoever says these things to you is lying. They just… should have explained better.

The truth is learning a skill that is in very high demand won’t make you a millionaire, that depends solely on “YOU” These skills are just equipments for you to attract money by helping people solve a problem and getting paid for it.

Since you’ve learnt a skill that you know pays people, try as much as you can to do the following:

• Don’t ever settle with the knowledge you garnered from the course or training. Explore and seek more practical knowledge
• Take on cheap or free jobs to gather enough experience on that particular field, you desperately need this.
• Offer to help friends and family solve a problem using the skill you acquired, so they can write a recommendation/review for you on any platform you want.
• Be patient and don’t ever make a prospect client feel like you are desperate for a job or money.
• Make sure your LinkedIn and CV is well arranged.
• Try as much as you can to make sure your social media accounts are loaded with powerful contents, not jokes and memes (except you’re a comedian or whatnot)

The power of mentorship should never be underestimated, to succeed in your field of endeavour on the internet, you need to find people who are succeding in what you do and tag along with them. If you have to pay for it; PAY!

If you have to find a community of like-minded people like yourself, join them and PAY if you have to.

Don’t ever delay and don’t ever give up, you’re same human like them, you’ve got this!

Want To Start Making Money Online But Still Contemplating or Procrastinating

This is the worse set.

Why? because over contemplation and even an ounce of procrastination is a mental disease that fights progress or success from the inside.

I’ve met so many students of various courses online who fall under this category, they register for a paid course or free course and they can never bring themselves to complete the training.

Then there are those who are KINGS & QUEENS OF EXCUSES – These individuals are just tired of mostly everything and “they don’t want to stress themselves” or as Nigerians would say “I cannot comman kee myself”

Truth is if you are in this category, reading this right now, then I put it to you that you’ve got everything it takes to start something right now and actually excel at it whether you know it or not.

All you have to do is ask yourself the following questions:

1. What would become of my life if I lost my parents/sponsors today?
2. Am I living to my full financial capability right now?
3. Am I inferior compared to other people living off money generated from the internet?
4. Is my country favorable to people who lack connections?
5. Is my educational qualification enough to make me get my dream life and dream family?
6. If I continue with this mentality of mine, Do I see myself progressing in life anytime soon?
7. Will I be satisfied with myself if I live a short life and couldn’t leave any legacy for my friends or family?
8. Will I allow mental laziness win?

Your answers to the questions above will determine whether you are ready for financial stability or not.

Let me tell you this story:

I had a friend named Tega who decided to invest his time in FOREX because he saw people making massive figures from it.

He checked Google and YouTube to learn how exactly it works. He decided to start learning with demo accounts and started making gains, I advised him to get a good tutor and mentor rather than using YouTube because he needs to make sure he’s getting value and mentorship, but he insisted that he doesn’t need to pay to learn.

3 months passed by and He was still skeptical to make any move towards investing real money, so He told another friend of his – Samson.

Samson quickly went online to search for the list of best FOREX traders in Nigeria, bought a course plus mentorship of one of them and in just few weeks, Samson started making $200+ weekly from FOREX while Tega was remained overly cautious.

Samson recently quit his job so he can focus solely on FOREX, and He is using the money He makes from it to take care of his family.

Meanwhile, Tega stopped after Samson’s progress saying He is just unlucky compared to Samson, and can not afford to buy a FOREX course.

There are multiple stories I’ve encountered about the side effects of contemplation and procrastination and the worse stories are mine. My personal experiences which I would be sharing to my email subscribers starting from 2022.

The one thing I can promise you is that as Humans; whatever made us scared of taking big risks and made us unable to be consistent is something that is not permanent. You do have a mental switch. It’s difficult to reach but you do.

From today, try doing the following:

1. Set a daily task for yourself: it could be exercising, reading or watching the news.
2. Use your calendar to make this a daily task so you are always reminded.
3. Stick to the routine, don’t ever make an excuse to stop.

This is a proven method to help you get over the inability to make a big decision, stick with it and be consistent. I’ve used it over the years.

You need to be good at this because you don’t become someone who earns massive money overnight, it is a result of collective activities and preparation which you can’t achieve with CONTEMPLATING, PROCRASTINATING, FEAR AND INCONSISTENCY.
